Located in the center of the Bohai economic circle, the city of Tianjin, one of the four municipalities of China, is the largest coastal open city in north China, the birthplace of modern industry, one of the modern earliest coastal open cities and shipping and industrial centre in northern China. In recent years, the vocational education has developed rapidly in Tianjin, and Tianjin also became China’s first national vocational education reform pilot area. (Annex)
