The U. K. Vocational Education in Eyes of the U.K. Experts

From 13 to 14 April 2010, the Central Research Institute for Vocational and Technical Education of Chinese Ministry of Education and the Cultural and Education Section of the U.K. Embassy held the first dialogue on Anglo-Chinese vocational education; its theme is “Building Security System of Vocational Education”.
Facing the global needs and challenges, the U.K. attaches great importance to the development of vocational education, which has established a demand-driven and clear division vocational education system consist of demand, management, operation, service and supervision institutions. The U.K.’s initiative and experiences to some degree reflects the new development trends of international vocational education, which has enlightenments for vocational education deepening reform and institutional innovation in China.
